Stream Deck mount for sim racing and flight simulator cockpits, designed specifically for the 15-key Elgato Stream Deck (MK1, MK2, and Scissor Keys). The 3D printed adapter fixes your Stream Deck directly to your 8020 / 40 Series aluminium extrusion rig via a fully adjustable aluminium RAM Mount, so pit commands, telemetry shortcuts, autopilot controls, and cockpit functions stay within reach every lap and every leg. Choose between three arm lengths — 5.5cm, 9.5cm, or 15cm — to suit your reach, wheel or yoke position, and cockpit layout.
The Stream Deck itself is not included.
The Elgato Stream Deck is one of the most popular button box solutions in sim racing. Fifteen programmable LCD keys replace expensive custom button boxes, support unlimited profiles per sim title, and work beautifully with SimHub and the Elgato app for one-tap pit commands, traction control adjustments, brake bias changes, and app launching.
The challenge for every sim racer running an 8020 aluminium extrusion cockpit is fixing the Stream Deck cleanly to the rig — most generic mounts either don't suit 40 Series profile or won't hold position under force feedback vibration. This kit solves both: the dedicated extrusion adapter bolts straight into the T-slot channel of your 40 Series / 8020 profile, while the aluminium RAM Mount handles full angle adjustment in seconds. A 3D printed adapter built specifically for the 15-key Stream Deck keeps it secure and looking purpose-built.
In flight simulation, a Stream Deck is arguably even more valuable. Modern aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), X-Plane, and DCS World have hundreds of cockpit functions — and a Stream Deck puts autopilot modes, radio and transponder frequencies, lights, gear, flaps, view presets, ATC menus, and checklist pages a single tap away. With integrations like SPAD.neXt, Axis and Ohs, or the native Elgato plugins, you can build fully custom flight deck pages with live readouts and visual feedback. Because home flight sim cockpits are so often built from the same 8020 / 40 Series aluminium extrusion, this mount drops straight onto your flight sim rig — bolt it to the T-slot, set your angle with the RAM Mount, and your most-used cockpit controls sit right where your hand falls.
If in doubt, the 9.5cm arm suits most 40 Series cockpit setups.
Designed specifically for the 15-key Elgato Stream Deck range — the original MK1, the MK2, and the Scissor Keys model — and 8020 / 40 Series aluminium extrusion cockpits, whether built for sim racing or flight simulation.
Not compatible with: Stream Deck XL (32 keys), Stream Deck Plus, Stream Deck Mini, or Stream Deck Neo. If you have a Stream Deck XL, we make a dedicated XL mount instead.
Which Stream Deck models does this mount fit?
The 15-key Elgato Stream Deck range — MK1 (original), MK2, and Scissor Keys. It does not fit the XL (32 keys), Plus, Mini, or Neo.
Will it fit my 8020 / 40 Series cockpit?
Yes. The extrusion adapter is designed to bolt into the T-slot channel of 40 Series (40x40) aluminium profile, also commonly referred to as 8020. This applies equally to sim racing rigs and flight sim home cockpits built from the same extrusion. All the bolts and hardware you need are included.
Is this good for flight simulator setups?
Absolutely. A Stream Deck is one of the best upgrades for a flight sim cockpit — it lets you map autopilot, radios, lights, gear, flaps, views, ATC, and checklists to programmable LCD keys, working with MSFS, X-Plane, and DCS via tools like SPAD.neXt, Axis and Ohs, or the Elgato plugins. Since most home cockpits use 8020 / 40 Series extrusion, this mount fits straight onto your flight sim rig.
Which arm length should I choose — 5.5cm, 9.5cm, or 15cm?
The 5.5cm arm keeps the deck tight to the cockpit for a compact layout. The 9.5cm arm adds reach for a slightly deeper wheel or yoke position or larger wheels. The 15cm arm gives maximum reach — ideal for deep wheel positions, large rim wheels, or mounting from an outer extrusion rail and angling the deck in toward you. If in doubt, the 5.5cm suits most setups.
How adjustable is the mount?
Fully adjustable. The aluminium RAM Mount arm between the two adapters lets you rotate and angle the Stream Deck freely. Loosen, position, tighten — done.
Do I need any extra hardware?
No. All required bolts and T-slot hardware are included. Nothing else to buy.
Why use a Stream Deck instead of a custom button box?
A 15-key Stream Deck gives you fully programmable LCD keys with live visual feedback, unlimited profiles, and software like SimHub, SPAD.neXt, and the Elgato app for one-tap commands — whether that's pit strategy and brake bias on track, or autopilot and radios in the cockpit. A custom button box with the same functionality typically costs several times more.
Is the Stream Deck included?
No — this listing is for the mount system only (adapters, aluminium RAM Mount arm, bolts and hardware). You'll need to supply your own Stream Deck.
Is installation difficult?
No. Bolt the extrusion adapter into your 8020 / 40 Series profile, fit the Stream Deck into its bucket adapter, connect both via the aluminium RAM Mount arm, and tighten. All hardware is supplied.
Can I reposition it without dismantling the mount?
Yes. The RAM Mount allows angle changes in seconds, and the extrusion adapter can be repositioned along the T-slot, so you can fine-tune the position any time.
